Gin Cocktails

 Gin is a versatile spirit that serves as the base for many classic and contemporary cocktails. Here's a selection of popular gin cocktails:

 

  1. Gin and Tonic:

    • 50 ml Gin
    • Tonic Water to top up
    • Lime or Lemon wedge for garnish

    Fill a highball glass with ice, add the gin, and top with tonic water. Garnish with a lime or lemon wedge.

  2. Martini:

    • 60 ml Gin
    • 10 ml Dry Vermouth
    • Lemon peel or Olive for garnish

    Stir or shake the gin and vermouth with ice and strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with a lemon peel or an olive.

  3. Negroni:

    • 30 ml Gin
    • 30 ml Campari
    • 30 ml Sweet Vermouth
    • Orange peel for garnish

    Stir the ingredients over ice and strain into an ice-filled old-fashioned glass. Garnish with an orange peel.

  4. Tom Collins:

    • 50 ml Gin
    • 25 ml Lemon Juice
    • 15 ml Simple Syrup
    • Club soda to top up

    • 60 ml Gin

    • 45 ml Gin
    • 15 ml Maraschino Liqueur
    • 15 ml Lemon juice

    Shake all the ingredients with ice and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a cherry.

    • 45 ml Gin
    • 15 ml Lemon juice
    • 15 ml Raspberry syrup
    • 1 Egg white (optional for frothiness)
    • Fresh raspberries for garnish

    Dry shake the egg white if using, then add the gin, lemon juice, and raspberry syrup with ice and shake again. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass and garnish with fresh raspberries.
